Buffalo Puffs

Okay, here's a mega tasty football-watching snack that's mega easy to make. Mega and mega! And, as I promised the other day, it is well within my buffalo period.

Bake two chicken breasts. You can manage that, right? If not, just stop here.

While those are baking, melt 1/3 cup of butter, then mix it up 1/2 cup of Frank's Red Hot. Yes, it has to be Frank's. When I use details, I mean them, dang it!

Take a box of puff pastry (Pepperidge Farm or something) and defrost it according to the instructions on the box.

When the chicken is finished, chop up the breasts into bite-sized pieces, then toss with the buffalo sauce.

Cut the defrosted puff pastry into squares of a size you like. Maybe 1" by 3" or so. Put some buffalo chicken bites on a piece of pastry, cover with a second piece and press down the edges to seal. Don't fill them up too much.

Brush each made puff with egg wash (one beaten egg plus one teaspoon of water) and bake according to the directions on the puff pastry box.

Dip them things in blue cheese and get down. This are so good, you'll forget that your fantasy team never scores any touchdowns! You'll forget that your golden boy quarterback's knee exploded. You'll forget that your coach is Jack del Rio! They are that good, friends! Sarah Palin ate these for dinner every single in the governor's mansion!
